Single - Leafed
In a forest of endless dreams,
A small shoot germinates through its egg.
The shoot cries for sun rays as it firms
However, a bigger leaf shadows
The young shoot refuses to surrender
Nutrients encourage along
But the shoot only managed a small green leaf
"It's not enough!" says the nitrogen.
"Try sustaining with what you have" says the phosphorus
"Why are you so weak?" says the the potassium.
"You need to grow in order to be harvested" says the H2O
"Bye-e!" says an ally
The single-leafed shoot tries,
Even though others have developed their third
But, can it bare the natural calamities
And the unjustified world along the way?
Can it grow up to expectations?
Or, will it be ignored
Until it rots away completely?
