😇In every aspect of our life, religion has always been a part of an individual's life, shaping everything around. People either crown it or fake it for their sake of societal reputation or fear. Religion was emerged for maintaining well-being and for the purification of one's mind. However, the strict religious systems accompanied by passive believers overpowered the concept by dominating societies with cheap mythical beliefs and a mindset of superiority. This caused humanity to divide, which caused social issues such as racism, criticism, and hatred among societies. 💔Religion also became a manipulative tool which suppressed the logical sense of causes and effects by causing spiritual amnesia to the ordinary human beings. Ultimately, forgetting the sense of individuality. Religion has never been a non-manipulative chaos, disguised in a respectful tone.😶

A recent news reported by the BBC News about a Manchester Synagogue attack which caused brutal harm to Jewish believers during their worship session by a group of Islamic terrorists with false ideologies.😈 Such issues were also addressed when a fight broke between the Hindus and the Muslims which caused extreme discomfort in both the states.(Al Jazeera, Dec - 2021) 👀 According to the news, all of these societal crises had the root problem related to sectarianism, a holistic or discrimination due to the membership in another religious sect. Hence, religion has been proven by humanity itself as one of the factors causing racism and division among societies.

Individuality is a concept popularly admired in the modern era, where individuals have the freedom to choose, express, and be unique.👬 However, religion often encourages sameness, suppressing individuals' freedom of choice through dictative philosophies. This situation can be linked with a theory made by a Christian interpreter who theorized the similarities between the rigorous religious system with the community found in a novel called The Giver by Lois Lowry, in an article, Foundations with Janet Denison.The Giver is a novel which is set in a society that enforces stern regulations where individuality is suppressed to maintain order and sameness.👤＝👤According to the interpretation from the article, the novel also symbolized the manipulative and rigorous religious system, especially the strict, polished community where blindfolded citizens resided. This proves how the stern policy suppresses the concept of individuality as referred in the community found in the novel, The Giver .👀 The concept of having faith in religion has caused significant amount of chaos and death in the historical reviews of the world.😈Despite spreading welfare, it caused division, manipulation, and suppression instead. However, apart from all the negative influences, religion can also bring positive consequences, if interpreted properly.👼 Hence, religion is a complex and a debatable concept, where either of the motions have equal points to argue about. Thereby, knowing your part with logic and good intention towards humanity can bring together societies, our future generations to flourish with compassion, the sense of humanity and love for every being.😇
